80th Anniversary of VE Day with Ancestry
on Queen Anne’s Walk in London, featured by the BBC News and ITV News
On Queen Anne’s Walk in London, we helped Ancestry commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day with a street party-inspired installation.
Long tables dressed with vintage cloths, teacups, saucers, and floral arrangements set the scene beneath Union Jack bunting.
At the heart of the activation were 80 place settings, each dedicated to an unsung wartime contributor, complete with a plaque telling their story and a portrait on a plate. This heartfelt installation encouraged passersby to pause, reflect, and share stories of their own ancestors.
