MULBERRY
Mulberry held a large brand activation at Wilderness in 2014. studioBEAM's role involved both consultancy and production. Mulberry wanted to engage the audience and communicate their status as a heritage brand. We suggested a workshop where attendees got to make leather Mulberry bracelets. Key leather skills were communicated from makers and technicians from the Somerset factory.
Mulberry managed their own production, however, they commissioned studioBEAM to design a bespoke table which would be the cornerstone of the activation. The table, inspired by a metal or tannery worktop bench was made from spelted beech. Design features included routed gaps to hold hides and drawers for tools.
