THE EDF CHRISTMAS TREE, GLASGOW CITY CENTRE

EDF wanted to highlight the impact on the environment of petrol and diesel cars in city centres over the Christmas period. Installing a Christmas Tree in Glasgow City Centre set to encourage people to make a switch to low carbon travel.

EDF built some clever software that changed the lights to green when the pollution was low and white when the pollution was high, encouraging shoppers to visit Glasgow city centre in more carbon efficient ways.

studioBEAM innovatively used an electric vehicle from Hyundai to power the lights on the tree.

studioBEAM delivered and produced the activation and the live.
